Meet the Crew

Alex and Nick Neamon- Owners
Alex is from Hamburg and grew up around baking, with her parents owning the Pufferbelly in Boston, NY. Baking has always been part of her life, and the cottage bakery and farmstand is the first step toward a longtime dream of opening her own bakery/ farm store.
She works full time in healthcare and has a passion for working with seniors and creating meaningful daily connection. Outside of work, she’s usually in the kitchen or with the dogs, Great Danes have been part of her life since she was 18, when she got her first Dane, Paisley.
Alex

Nick
Nick is from Bliss and works full time for a local propane company, but much of what you see here started with him. Nick built the farmstand from the ground up and is currently building the new stand entirely by hand, bringing it to life piece by piece.
He has a natural ability to figure things out and make things happen, and this space would not exist without the foundation he created. At home, Nick is happiest with his boys, Chip and Diesel, while Dahlia—who joined the family in spring 2025, keeps everyone busy with her endless puppy energy.

Dahlia
Dahlia may only be one year old, but she already runs the place, or at least thinks she does. Equal parts comedian and troublemaker, she’s always doing something that makes us laugh, whether she’s digging where she shouldn’t, antagonizing her brothers, or sneaking into the flowers.
She’s endlessly curious, incredibly smart, and always looking for her next adventure. Dahlia loves chewing on a bone, carrying random treasures around the house, climbing anything she can, and trying absolutely everything once. Despite her big personality, she’s convinced she’s a lap dog.
Life with Dahlia is never quiet, never boring, and always a little chaotic in the best way.
Chip

Chip came to us from a family who loved him deeply but wanted more for him, and from the moment we heard his name, it felt meant to be. Alex’s late grandfather was also named Chip, so it immediately felt like a sign that he was supposed to be part of our family.
Now at 7 years old, Chip is the biggest of our three Great Danes and somehow also the biggest baby. He’s the definition of a velcro dog and prefers to be wherever his people are at all times. Personal space does not exist in Chip’s world.
If you see him on the deck, there’s a very good chance he’ll have a stuffed toy hanging out of his mouth. It’s basically his emotional support accessory. Between his size, his sweetness, and his constant need to be close by, Chip has a way of making himself impossible not to love.

Diesel
Diesel is our senior old man at 9 years old, although you would never know it by the way he runs around the yard. He hasn’t slowed down one bit and still gets just as excited for toys, walks, and time outside as he always has.
One of Diesel’s favorite things in the world is rolling around in the grass, usually with complete happiness and dramatic enthusiasm. He loves being outside, going for walks, and keeping an eye on everything happening around him.
While he likes to pretend he’s far too mature for puppy antics, he secretly plays with his little sister Dahlia when he thinks nobody is paying attention. Beneath the “grumpy old man” act, Diesel is incredibly sweet and happiest when he’s simply near his people.
How it all started

Back in 2022, we acquired our grain bin to use as the bar for our wedding, a fun, unique centerpiece that quickly became one of our favorite memories.
One of our favorite details from our wedding was the signature drink menu inspired by our Great Danes, a little piece of our hearts built right into the silo from the very beginning. Over the years, our pack has changed, but the love the dogs have brought into our lives still surrounds this place every single day. Our Danes have always been part of our story.
After the wedding, it sat quietly on the property for a while, waiting for its next purpose.
Fast forward to the spring of 2025… one conversation turned into a wild idea:
“What if we turned the grain bin into a farm stand?”
What started as a simple project quickly became something filled with heart, community, late nights, learning curves, flour-covered counters, early mornings, and so much excitement. We poured ourselves into creating a space that felt cozy, welcoming, and a little magical.
Today, that little silo has become the heart of our farm stand and the center of our purpose- providing our community with high quality baked goods from our cottage bakery while filling our shelves with products from local farms, makers, and small businesses we truly believe in. Supporting small and local is at the heart of everything we do.
We have such big dreams for the future of this space, and watching this little idea grow into something meaningful has been incredibly special.
